Terms of Service

These Terms govern purchases from and use of GutsDogCom, operated by VitaPet System Limited. Mandatory consumer rights in the customer’s location are not excluded or limited.

1. Business information

GutsDogCom is operated by VitaPet System Limited, Hong Kong Business Registration No. 78729359, at RM B26, 11/F, Yick Shiu Industrial Building, 1 San On Street, Tuen Mun, Hong Kong. Contact guts@gutsdog.com or +852 6856 2748.

2. Products and handmade characteristics

Many products are handmade or finished in small batches. Minor differences in stitching, symmetry, decoration, print placement, texture, colour and measurements within a reasonable tolerance are not normally defects where they do not materially affect safety, comfort, durability, overall appearance or intended use.

Handmade status does not excuse broken fasteners, unsafe construction, open seams, major damage, missing parts, substantial asymmetry, material measurement errors, incorrect personalisation caused by us or another genuine fault.

3. Orders and payment

An order is an offer to purchase. We may accept, reject or cancel an order for reasonable reasons including payment failure, suspected fraud, stock error, pricing error, delivery restriction or inability to produce a custom item. If we cancel after payment, we will refund the applicable amount.

Unless otherwise stated, prices and payments are processed in Hong Kong Dollars. Shipping and checkout charges are shown before order completion. Destination customs duties, import taxes and local handling charges are the recipient’s responsibility unless checkout states otherwise.

4. Personalised and custom-made products

Customers are responsible for checking spelling, wording, measurements and options before submitting an order. Personalised, bespoke and specially adjusted products are generally excluded from change-of-mind returns, subject to mandatory law. Genuine faults and errors caused by GutsDogCom remain covered.

5. Shipping, returns and remedies

Please refer to our Shipping & Delivery and Returns, Size Exchanges & Refunds pages. For a verified fault, transit damage, incorrect item or GutsDogCom production error, we pay the standard approved replacement shipping cost in full.

6. Pet safety

Products must be used under appropriate supervision. Check fit and condition before use. Remove an item immediately if damaged, if a pet attempts to chew it, or if it causes discomfort. Decorative pet wear is not a restraint, safety harness or medical product unless expressly stated.

7. Cooling products

Cooling performance varies with temperature, airflow, body heat and usage conditions. Cooling products do not prevent heatstroke and do not replace shade, ventilation, hydration or veterinary care. Do not use a cooling product if punctured, leaking or damaged.

8. Intellectual property and acceptable use

Website content, product photography, text, graphics, branding and original designs are owned by or licensed to GutsDogCom and may not be copied or commercially used without permission, except as allowed by law. You must not misuse the website, interfere with security, introduce harmful code or infringe rights.

9. Liability and governing law

Nothing excludes liability or a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control.

These Terms are governed by Hong Kong law, without removing any mandatory protection or forum right available to a consumer in their location.
